SOLAR DC LIGHTS
By replacing standard incandescent lights with energy saving fluorescents or light-emitting diodes (LEDs), the total lighting load can be reduced by between 50 to 90% without sacrificing illumination. We recommend the use of fluorescent lighting due to their efficiency and savings. An incandescent bulb can be replaced with a fluorescent using one quarter of the power and they last 4-5 times longer than bulbs.
In addition, LEDs consume one tenth the power of an incandescent, and offer 100,000 hour operating life. Their brightness is a function of the number of LEDs. Because of their low power draw they are ideal for all solar systems.

SPOT LIGHTS
Our attractive ceiling fixtures feature an energy efficient 13 watt PL tube, equivalent to the output of a 60 W incandescent for maximum illumination. PL tubes are warm white colour similar to incandescent bulbs.

LED LIGHT BULBS
These attractive 12 VDC fluorescent fixtures have painted aluminum housings and acrylic diffuser lenses. Sizes range from 8 to 60 watts, and all use standard warm white tubes. These lights are ideal for shop areas, bathrooms, kitchens or general area lighting. High-efficiency and low power consumption make these lights ideal for the majority of your lighting needs.

SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLERS
A charge controller or regulator prevents overcharging by limiting the current flowing into the batteries. The key to extending battery life in a solar system is to protect batteries from a complete discharge/overcharge. A charge controller is a power system component whose functions include regulation of solar charge current and in some cases to provide low battery protection.

Selecting the right inverter
When selecting an inverter, choose a size that can power the appliances you plan to use. Typical sizes installed in RV and home are 1000 to 2500 watts. Larger inverters from 4 kW to 11 kW are used in large power systems, such as lodges, and industrial applications.
Most home power systems in Middle East, Africa are now wired for 220-240 VAC, and an inverter is installed to feed these circuits. An inverter not only lets you use standard appliances and tools but conventional wiring as well. In larger remote residences, particularly those using auxiliary generators, inverters can reduce the costs of power generation by up to 90%. Most inverters include a stand-by battery charger, so that when the generator is on, the batteries are automatically recharged. Once the generator is turned off, the inverter system powers the same AC circuits. Not only do you have quiet power available 24 hours a day, but in most cases the fuel savings alone can pay for the complete cost of the inverter system in less than a year!

Our high quality solar street lights are commercial quality lighting systems for residential streets, parking lots and security lighting. The applications for solar powered outdoor lighting systems are endless. These units can be used for: Security and safety lighting, rural area lighting, Dock lights, Park lighting, Parking lot lighting, Parkway lighting, walkway lighting, Street lighting, Transit Lighting, Outdoor area lighting, Military and civil security and so on. The costs of trenching and installing underground wiring often make a solar street lighting system an economically feasible lower cost option.Solar Street Lighting Solution Our solar street lighting systems are a complete turn key solution. All components needed for installation are included (except for the mounting pole). The systems are designed for easy installation. The efficient microprocessor automatically activates from sunset to sunrise. The in-built timer regulates the hours the light stays on; also regulates the battery, preventing it from overcharging and over discharging. The system is able to operate for at least 3 consecutive days without sunlight. The luminaries are available with either low pressure sodium (LPS), fluorescent (FL) lamps, or LED’s. The LPS lamp is a monochromatic (yellow-orange) light source, delivering the highest possible lumens per watt. Compact fluorescent lamps provide slightly less lumens, but produce a white light (4100K), which appears brighter than low pressure sodium lamps and should be used in areas where colour rendition is desired. Efficient Solar Street Lighting using LED Green Energy also offers street lighting systems which use LED lights that are extremely efficient, and durable light sources. Only 1/10 the power is required with LED fixtures to produce the same light intensity as an incandescent bulb. Four packages are available that allow you to choose the lighting solution that best meets your needs. The LED Street Light is available with either 100 or 200 LEDs, which are equivalent to 100 W and 200 W incandescent light bulbs respectively. Powerful Solar Module The solar modules feature high efficient solar cells, and industrial construction with a rugged tempered glass face and aluminium frame. Plus, the power output warranty ensures that,the lighting system will generate power for decades into the future. The LED street light has the option of one or two panels depending on the application. Solar Controller The solar controller is perfect for lighting control functions. This controller protects against reverse current and carries a five year warranty. The solar controller provides 10 different options. For example, after the sun sets the controller can operate the light for two or for three hours then turn on one hour before sunrise or run dusk to dawn. Solar Batteries Our lead-acid solar batteries feature maintenance-free, spill-proof construction and excellent cycle life. The lockable battery box sits at the base of the light pole and protects the batteries. Customization We also custom design solar street lights for any application.
